Help with steering cable
I was trying to relign my umi steering on rxp. I loosened the bolts too much that hold the steering cable onto bracket. How do i get the cable in the clamp again to mount to bracket. The tension on cable is too much to hold and try to screw the c clamp back to umi bracket.
Does any one have some good advice to how to do this. Do i have to take the umi complete loose to get the bracket to mount to cable. Will that take out the tension.
Any help will be appreciated as i would like to ride tommorrow.

OK guys, got it back together. I used duc tape to hold the 2 halves (c clamps) together and then was finally able to get the steering cable parallel to the bracket. what a pita. If you ever lossen those 2 screws for steering adjustment do not loosen all the way out.
The reason i was messing with the clamp is when i installed umi i was not able to line up steering correct. with all the adjustments all the way in on both ends the nozzle would still be to the left. That means no more give to adjust in with adjustments all the way in. WTF
This is also taking into count the cable was on 3rd hole on umi and nut in C clamp all the way in.
So tonight i removed the steering cable extension that comes with the wedge and was able to make it work.
Any one else still able to get there umi steering correct with wedge extension on steering cable.
