Arrow What is this foam rubber piece for?

Found this in the bottom of my MSX 140 hull, but I cannot think what it is from.
D-shaped black hollow foam rubber/bumper, looks like it was glued on to something.

I know I have seen them before, but where?

Nope, no slit. I don't think it is/was a float.

Here is the flat bottom side, which is rather rough and looks like it was glued onto a surface in the MSX 140, just not sure where, or what for.

Second item in this photo is a ribbed flat pad, 2 inches long, found in the bilge of the Virage TXi, which I think may have something to do with the seat, but the seat itself has large, tall pads attached to it, which sit on the hull rim around the engine opening. There are no pads of any kind glued to the hull around the seat opening on my Virage.

If you know what or where either of these go, let me know.
    Thanks!

That one's easy-but no reason for it on a TX carb-there is no way the seat or that pipe can come in contact with it, always thought it was for the i model or some other older model ski

All I have are i models!

When it isn't so WET outside, I will go have a look-see for those pads (5812094, three per hull according to the parts list) on the sides of the Planet resonators. Thanks for the info!

I am now thinking I have seen those same little ribbed pads before on the older 1990's hulls, or maybe I am just confused...
