Jim Byers Beautiful Life
Jim broke his neck last year. It was a very bad situation. This was his third class training with me in the past month since his recovery and rehabilitation! GO JIM GO!
There are so many great things we should and could focus on, but far too often we fall into the trap of negative powers.
I thought of Jim's life changing event every time he turned his head, touched the helm, got up and got going again. He's very fortunate, and with that aren't we?

Another exceptional inspiring person.
It is so easy to succumb to depression, when a life altering accident takes away parts of our lives, we see this daily in the newspapers, and some of us experience it personally.
Mitch came to the AWA Freedom Ride at Washington DC last year, I remember him...he told me twelve days afterwards he was riding his Harley motorcycle and was hit head on by a car. He lost his leg but fortunately his life was spared.
It takes courage to move forward doesn't it?
He is what we could call an Everyday Hero.
He came out to the Lake Anna AWA Safety Day this past saturday and rode for the first time since his accident last August. He has a ways to go as he adjusts to his new way of being. We take for granted the simple operation of our body, I know I do at least, but Mitch will always be a part of why I work, how I train, and how fast life changes in a second.
Unfortunatley I did not get a date with Mitch..LOL
Life is a gift, don't waste it on stupid things or dumb comments, remember everything you say has merit.
Live like Mitch.
