    Fuel Gauge doesn't work

What would cause the fuel gauge to not have a reading on it? I'm 100% it's not the float because I replaced that with a brand new one 2 seasons ago and it didn't work after that either. I checked the ohms on the fuel pickup and there is a difference in readings between full & empty (can't remember what the measurements were) so I can rule that out. I don't think it's the MFD because all other vitals read fine.

Anyone have these symptoms in the fuel gauge? It's not a big deal, but I would prefer to have a working one.

Have you checked the wires between MFD and float, and between flat and ground?

Double check the wires inside the elec box. The sender connects the pink and black inside the box. Then the MFD connects to the same points.

Or try placing an ohmmeter on the pink and black wires from the sender. Then lift the nose to change the fuel level. Ohms should increase as fuel levels drop. 33 ohm is full and 240 is empty.

Once I get the boat done and running I'll try to figure it out. I just needed a direction of where I should begin. Thanks guys.
