Rode a 07' GTX (155hp) thought it was fast!! But how about a RXT-X in comparison???

Well I rode a 155hp 07' GTX yesterday and thought it pulled very good and was very fast!

But I am buying an RXT-X for my first ski..

how big is the difference with the holeshot?

Also how much slower is the RXT than the X version in the real world?

    Thanks you guys.

BTW, my dad is buying the ski he has experience with them I dont, so none of the "It's too powerful for you" type stuff.

night and day difference, indescribable....after you get your "x" the smile won't be wiped off your face for a month or so.

I can't say what the difference between an x and non x ski is, but the difference between that 155 and the 215 is as described in my first paragraph.

If you think that was hard, the RXT-X will scare the poop out of ya! LOL

Well I have an RXP-X and let me tell you it pulls hard. Oh yea and hold on because it wants to buck you off (thats mostly due to the holeshot power) Dont treat it like anything you have riddin before give it some respect. Look you are going from a 155hp boat to a 215hp non x then the X model is 255hp. so as you can see from the 155 to 255 is 100hp difference so what do you think.......

+1 You better be ready as you are moving up in league. The X ski is not just for the light of heart. Any stage 2 for that matter.

in terms of jetski yes I am a noob,
but I, not my dad, have a fully built 99' Turbo M3 that I drive as a DD so the whole pulling concept is nothing new to me but the fact that jetskiiing is new for me is. lol.

I have had mulitple high power turbo and supercharged cars. That has 4 wheels.

This is a boat. No wheels I would say a good analogy would be this

Think of it like this its like going from a 250 Kawasaki Ninja made in the 80's to a 1300 Suzuki Hayabusa. That big of a difference.

And when I mean hold on. Its not just so much that its so powerful. Its that while you are holding on to the handle bars and you jerk back on the throttle. Your hands and your body want to come away from the boat.

I think you will love the X series boat. All I am trying to say is you have to respect this boat. Cause if you dont it will hurt you. Just like any toy once you stop respecting it. It will eventualy make you respect it and sometimes that means severe injury.

Have fun and get you the X boat.
