Psst... Hurry before Al gets here.. For Sale.

Okay, I ride this thing exactly once per year, so it's for sale..

The hull is a 2000 785 Pro that never hit the water until 2006, when I I built and installed a NEW Octane motor. The new cylinders have been bored to 85mm, and the compression ratio has been adjusted for pump gas. It has a stainless 6 vane pump,Skat impeller,2 degree wedge,Jet Dynamics intake grate, drop nozzle , auto-trim, Novi carbs, vapor seperator, V-force reeds, sponsons, steering, bars, dual bilge pumps, complete Octane electrical box with re-programmed CDI, Watcon Billet girdled cylinder head,Carbon fiber vented dash cover, and the ONLY set of Factory Polaris Twin pipes that I know of in existance. The pipes were on a 785 Twin stroker motor that Frank Romero raced (and holeshot) at the World finals in 2000 or 2001.. He faded to approx 10th, but the ski turned approx 8200 Rpm with a 13-19 impeller.(in a Hotseat lightweight SLH hull).

The pipes are not doing this ski any ggod, and it probably would go faster with a single pipe (pump gas), but I don't care as I built it for myself as a project and let the kids ride it.. It's fairly slow right now, and needs to be finish tuned, and has approx 8 hours riding time since it's build. the hull is perfect except for the "garage" dings and scrapes, and I do have a title that comes with it.. $5,000.00 Firm..with a small crating fee....

    Thanks,
    Randy

    Twin pipes

The ONLY set of Factory Polaris Twin pipes that I know of in existance.

Factory pipe made pipes and so did PSI, but they didn't make the horsepower level that the FACTORY RACING pipes made... What started this post was reading about Al's twin pipe project, asnd I agree that most twins don't really benefit from twin vs single pipes.. But they sure are cool!!

The Polaris Ficht 2-stroke fuel injection system does not easily handle engine modifications, even minor ones, let alone exhaust pipes.

Until someone figures out how to modify the Ficht system, you need carbs or a different fuel injection controller to modify Polaris 2-stroke PWC engine.

Please post pics of your ski.

Hard to believe a ported 700 2 cyl would outrun a exhaust valved 160 HP triple piped PRO.
