    GP Pump questions

first off I was wanting to know if all GP's 97-99 have the same pumps I.E. 1200, 760, 800? I need a stator for my 98 gp 1200 and found one for a 760 on ebay. Second what is the best way to repair chipped stator blades? Can I have someone tig them and smooth it myself, or should I send it out to the pros?

    I know for sure GP760 has a 144mm pump, and I think the 800 also has a 144mm pump. The 1200 has a 155.

the tripples from 95-99 have the same stator. I have welded them before. takes time, but it is doable.
