does anyone have these on their boat? the price is the lowest for any sponson. maybe u get what u pay for.any input ? i dont see any backing plates for these to rest on against the hull, or do they just bolt up to the hull inserts, if so how would this affect performance, such as planing, turning and even top speed ?

I tried them when I had a 1999 Ultra 150 ... and absolutely hated them. Yes they turned sharp, but they felt incredibly unstable to me when just going in a straight line. Save your money IMO ...

Hi, I had these on my 04 STXR. It actually felt faster due to the lack of mounting block behind them. Didn't ever have a problem with them until I let a friend who is about 100 lbs. heavier than I am ride it. He cranked it hard left and got tossed hard. Didn't notice that it snapped the left one in half until I trailered it. They replaced the broken one no problem, but it didn't quite match the other one in terms of shape and cut. Also a friend who raced broke one in a race, so I went with Beach House. Still runnin' 'em, no problems. Buy these IMO, a little more money, but if good enough for Kawasaki race team......... anyway hope this helps.

i race with them on my stxr, i have tried r & d and beach house and liked the aggresser's alot better, the rear of the ski will not come unhooked.
and ur right they just bolt to the side of the hull with no backing plate. MY step dad runs them on his ultra 250 and loves the way it handles!

Im using Ada sponsons they cost me $50 brand new from ada and they work great. Its the best money ive spent so far realy helps straightline tracking when they are stepped. Dont be fooled by the price they look , feel ,and perform like $200 sponsons.

I'd be specific on model that you are looking for feedback.
they were total crap on the gpr and caused some pretty bad handling issues. they were obviously not made for the gpr.
