    Space Station

    An e-mail I received

The International Space Station will be flying over the East Bay Area here in California from the WSW towards the ENE direction at a magnitude of -2.4, which is very bright. It will look as bright as the planet Venus as it flies over; which it will do so in just 3 minutes so don't be late.

Or if you are late , look again tomorrow night at 21:10 and again on Thursday at 21:32 or 9:32 pm .

For you not here in the Bay Area, go to the link below and type in your zip code to see when you can view it.

Damn, it moves pretty quick. If it weren't for Conrad I would have missed it, I was facing the wrong way.

It was very visible and was out of sight within a few minutes.
For us it was at about 45 degrees SSW.
Check the link and it will give you times and dates it will pass over your area and where to look.

my wife was asking the other day if the space station is visible and I thought so, but in South Florida with all the lights and humidity, you're lucky to see 10 stars most nights.

When I was growing up in Michigan, my buddy and I used to sit in the spa, no not gay, and count satellites zipping across the sky.
