    GTI 130 Supercharged

    Hey guys, just wondering if any one out there has done this? and how hard was it to do? We were thinking of running a supercharger from a 185hp with a 215 cooler and stock pistons, rrfpr and stock 215 computer.....

    I don't know of anyone who has used a S/C on a N/A motor, but it has been posited before. You would need the PTO side engine cove from a S/C ski and then you might have problems relating to the higher compression of the N/A motors.

    My $.02 use a complete motor and electronics from a 215hp ski for the swap.

    That will ahve to high a compression ratio, different cam, ecu, no sc, and cast pistons. Easier and cheaper to get a 215 engine

    I have sc, cooler, rear cover, ecu and cams laying around in the workshop... so parts are not an issue... i thought i had read somewhere rotax racing were running standard pistons (155hp) on their 185hp skis to up the compression and had no issues....

    If you got the parts, I'm pretty sure you can run the 185 charger or even the 215. If you want to go a modded charger you should consider replacing the cast pistons with forged ones from a 215
