    Intake Grate Silicone

I just bought some 3M marine grade silicone sealant for the riva intake grate and i was wondering if this would work even though it says it's for above the water line? I couldn't find any that was above/below rated.

I would but I could not find that in my area and I'm going up north in a few days. I just was wondering in the 3m would work as well seeing how it was the only marine grade silicone sealant at westmarine.

AutoZone, O'Rielly, Advance Auto parts should have Permatex Ultra Black, it's what Sea Doo recommends.
