    Thru-hull installation question

The thru-hull pipe has a waterline nipple at the end of it that you're supposed to plug the by-pass hose into (hose #28 in the #1 RXP diagram). The Speedster 150 I'm installing this in has no water bypass line. The best I've gathered from reading everything written about the thru-hull here is, it is not necessary to connect anything to that, and I can just take the nipple out and plug up the hole with a screw. Correct?

The thru-hull pipe won't reach the transom in the S150 (short by 6"), so I had to order a SS pipe and coupler before I'm be able to git'R done.

I am not personally familiar with the ultra 150 but that line #28 may not exist in your case. I would say your correct. Just go over all the lines you have and figure them out one by one, 28 was an exit line so as long as you dont have an extra water exit line your good to go.

It's a Sea-Doo Speedster 150; like an RXT with a steering wheel, extra seat, stereo, and obviously missing this bypass line. I found this thread that says it's OK not to connect the bypass line to the thru-hull pipe: http://www.greenhulk.net/forums/show...ghlight=header

You can plug the tee 26 and do away with the hose 28. On rxt's 28 plugs into a hole on the transom to exit the ski. If you plug the tee that water will just run out of the jpipe and waterbox.
