    1 project finally complete...kinda..

I thought I would share with you guys what I have been doing all winter. I decided to redo my 96gsx which was all original purple and white and then I got more and more into it and decided to go buy a tow vehicle to do at the same time to match it. I switched up ideas and themes about 10 times, but this is what I am sticking with for this summer at least.

Some of the things I have done are all new rub rails and inserts. New hydroturf seat and mats, custom made oil and gas fills, new sponsons, new grate, rebuilt motor, new paint, custom vynle graphics, I am getting ready to do the trailer this weekend and then it will be pretty much done. I went mild on the motor because I still plan on doing my 4 tech conversion on it, I just ran out of time this winter.

As far as the tow vehicle, its an 04 xtreme blazer. I had leather installed in it, and it has been lowered 5 inches all around and 99 corvette wagon wheels. Of coarse I added the custom vynle graphics to it so it would match as well. Why corvette? No reason really, I just like to do themed vehicles and I liked the corvette stripes and what it represents. The truck is headed in for air ride in the next month and then following that it will get a pro charger with a 4:10 rear end. I also plan on buying some new 07 chrome corvette rims in the near future.

Nice job! I love a black ski. The 2000 XPL is the purtiest of all the XPLs, IMO.

Is that a 68 SS in the background? It needs to be in GA...not enough warm weather to ride with the top down in OH...

My dad lives outside Cleveland...we restored a 67 Firebird 400 convertible. After winning many a show, he sold it a few years ago.

Thanks! Its a 69 SS. Yeah, the Ohio weather does suck, but I rarely have the top down anyways because then you get fried, with no ac.

No, no corvette yet..but with the amount of money I have been putting in my toys I probably could of had one. I will eventually get a black 07 or 08, but right now I have about 10 other projects in the mix. We are in the process of redoing that 69 camaro in the background and just picked up a 55 chevy to restore. On top of that I have to get the RXP unstocked and get a bigger boat! So to many projects and other toys at this time. One day though....Thanks for the compliment!
