    2003 GP1300R Cat Removal

Has anyone experienced the following? After removing the cat on my 2003 GP1300R and replacing it with R&Ds D plate and sensor chip, boat will not run above 4500 rpm.

Have you fitted the cat temp sensor? it could be the problem. did you try and see if there are any faults coming up on the dash?

I have no other engine mods, even still running the stock oil injection, but have fitted a Solas prop a few years back.

are your PV's cycling when you turn the ski off?

do the PV's open completely when your on the throttle?

do a compression check to verify your top-end is good..

check your pump area, make sure theres nothing stuck in there..
