Update of my P-X with Riva grate

Installed the Riva grate late yesterday and tested it today. Bad decision on my part. Was 103 degress today with 90+ humidity--so the RPMs never got above 7920. However--one thing that is great about the grate is-NO VIBRATION over 7800 RPM. Before I did not need to look at the tach to know I was 7800 or higher because the hood and the mirrors would shake like crazy. Now its smooth as glass. With the heat and humidity it was not a fair test for the boat, but the grate is just what the doctor ordered.

Good deal Ray, I guess the 2 little holes were drilled as per Jerry.

Also I hope we can see how well it does this Sunday.
See you in the afternoon. Be ready for some FUN! I will bring the camera

Are you and Ray riding at Dunlap on Sunday, A? We were going to take the skis out to Canyon, but might head out towards you guys instead if you guys are riding.

Kelly--Yes we will all be on Dunlap. Come on up. Little side note--the San Antonio Yamahaha dealer told Bob S. that he is coming with two SHOs and will kick everyones tail. This ought to be interesting

Austin--Yes--two 3/8 inch holes have been drilled. I am still running the stock venturi. Will start expermenting with smaller venturi if the temp gets back down to 95 or so.
