What about towing with the cover on?

What about towing with the cover on? You guys that got a Ultra early in 07 remember the soft paint Vs> the cover fiasco?
How about now, anybody tow with the cover on? I have, but only for short distances.

Nah, I only put the cover on when it's not in use. I like for people to look at my ski when I'm driving.

I dont even put it on when its not in use cause I like to look at it myself. But its in the garage anyways.

I would not chance a trip with it on because it might scuff the paint from wind whip.

I been towing all my ski for the last 5 years with covers on
I found the cheap ass cover will scratch

I now only use the VACU seal one
    lik the OEM use

as long as the ski is free of any salt/dirt and the cover is clean all is good

I tow my 07 ultra from day 1 and no marks

I always roll with cover off. 99% of the skis on the road I've seen do the same.

I keep cover off when parked in the garage, cover on when parked outside.

I HAVE to keep my cover on, even in the garage. My cats seem to like lounging around on the ski, and SHARPENING THEIR NAILS on it also....

There's more than one way to skin a cat.

Got the same problem (but with the cars).

The fix? Go out there while they're on the things and smack em' one time. Wait, that won't work, either. They're cats (which means they're idiots).

All joking aside, I don't think cats respond to discipline (like dogs will). They tend to piss on or in the car after getting slapped. At least that's been the case with my experience.
