sc clutch shims?
Anyone know of any local type source for the sc shims? like an auto parts store, hardware store, or tractor suply. My sc is slipping badly and I would like to fix it today so I can get out there.

not local, but im sure Jerry has them and can get them to you in two shakes of a lambs tail. I wouldnt risk putting anything else in there.

If shes slipping that bad i would forget the shims and put new spring washers in.

It's a brand new sc. It was shipped to me from brp, then I shipped it out to get the metal washers and rr wheel in it. Ive had it on the water 3 times and the performance kept getting worse, so I took off the intake to check the slip, and I didnt even get a number it moves with just the wieght of the wrench . and yes I did put a stick in the prop to stop the crank from moving. I'm gonna take it apart and see if it was even put together properly. Ive been chasing problems with this ski ever since I got it back from getting the engine rebuilt.

Me personally i would take it out and bench test the slip..Check the gear also make sure its within specs..also make sure they installed the spring washers the right way...I cant see a 3 hour old SC having that bad of a slip issue, especially with new metal washers...
