    RXP-X Running Rough

Today my ski started running rough. I lost alot of power and found the hose coming off the supercharger and to the intercooler came off. Put it back on but it still seems to be running rough. It is only turning around 7800-7900 RPM (usually runs up to 8160 in a flash) and power seems down. It seems to be running rougher too and when on the throttle the supercharger (i assume) is making a louder/deeper whine it seems. The motor seems to be idling a little rougher and making more noise, but it is very slight and I cant tell if im just hearing things. Not sure if its the charger or motor making more noise really.

Any ideas? Could it be bad gas or fouled plugs? I just hit 10 hours. My fear is supercharger but it runs up to 7800-7900 no problem.

That sounds like your IC to throttle body pipe is loose.

The different whine just sounds like a leak in the flow of boost IMO. That would also explain the low RPMs and lazy. If all connections are good (air intake and intercooler) I would pull the charger and inspect it. I don't think there's much else that could cause this.

I had my intake loose after 9 hours, caused the engine to run rough and drop rpms.

I know this scenario isn't quite the same deal, but did any of you guys notice a change in sound when you hit 10 hours? I heard some people talk about the ECU adjusting at the full break in at 10 hours or something like that, but honestly while I was riding I would hit full throttle and there was a slight hesitation, deeper sound (almost like when you floor a double-pumper that's over carbing the engine). It runs fine, seeing all the RPMs - didn't notice any improvement in peformance but it was right at the 10 hour mark.
