help on 05 1300r dont know why but 2 lean
have a 05 1300 with d-plate, ride plate, pumpseal, intake grate, and rerouted the stock air intake plumbing. but pulled the plugs out and the # 3 spark plug was blistering a little bit. and was running 87 octane gas. why are the plugs blistering what can i doo to fix thanks

Maybe oil injection line problem ?
Pull the head and check the wash

Ive seen 2 1200 with #3 oil line half off and off,Dont know if 1300 has same problem but I'm guessing it will>Marvin

SECURE THOSE OIL LINES....
or go pre-mix...

Can you go pre-mix on the EFI's?? I was just having this discussion a few days ago with CanadaXP and we thought you couldn't because you would clog the injectors...

i think its a preference thing...... some say theres a chance the injectors could get clogged, others dont feel they will..... i dont really know if anyone has real results,,,,,, our efi is still injected too,, but ive thought alot about going pre-mix... just like both our carbed gpr's

Hundreds of hours on pre mix EFIs here in tampa area. Pre mix will not hurt injectors, if anything, it will help extend their life from the added lubrication..
