SMC Hull Repair
Once again I'm in need of some direction...this time, unfortunately, my problem was self-inflicted...got a little close during a dog fight and this was the result...
I know stupid move...no one was hurt. Problem is that's my wifes ski and until it's fixed, I'm in the doghouse. Anyone have any thoughts on where to start? Body shop? Or should I attempt a home repair? I have some fiberglass experience, but none with SMC.

SMC can be repaired w/ an epoxy resin. I used west marines 105 resin and 205 and 206 hardener. Epoxy will bond really well w/ smc. Polyester resin will not bond as well.
I'd attempt a repair such as that.
