    Oil on the spark plugs!!!

    I have an Ultra 250x (200 and this morning it wouldn't start. I have black oil all over the spark plugs. this I have been told means oil is everywhere. how do I fix this now?

    was your oil on the outside of the plugs

    no just over the sparky bits on the tips

    spark plugs

    Sounds like it could be a little oil blow by. That or its running rich and gas fouling the plugs. I doubt its running rich and giving it to much gas, seeing how its fuel injection. I wouldnt rule it completely out either, though. How many hours do you have? It should be a light tan/ brown color on the tips of the plugs.

    No it was black. and I run it on 98 octane BP fuel. and I am only at 7hrs

    98 octane BP fuel? Where do you get that?

    Australia. It is one of our premium options at the petrol station.

    I beleive that is 93 equivalent here. Australia gives the RON number where as US gives ROn +MON / 2
