I have $1800 to spend on my X

    Hey guys..

I came across $1800 free dollars I can spend on my RXP-X..

What performance mods are best for this money?

I want the highest top speed possible.. Without sacrificing reliability.

    Thanks

i would go with the R&D grate and RE Blockoffs for now. then wait till riva comes out with the IC relocation kit unless you think you can make something else work. Then after thats out the way make your own Air INtake, have the WB modded so you can run a thru hull exhaust

also order the reduction nozzle and 15/22 prop but send the prop to someone for a good checking...speedfreeks does a lot of good work

custom 4" air intake $140 ( with silicone couplings and stainless filter)

free flow riva is 90, but after seeing what it was you can go with just a stock piece of stainless for about half

    15/22r is 320
    riva grate is 150
    RE BOs are 300
and if you go adj venturi, that another 350, but right now im looking into having the X nozzle machined, then I'll buy a couple of rings to go with it, rings are running 40 dollars...

right now im running 72.5 without the nozzle, I better see 75 when done...lol

So i will be at about 1300 for 75, i may do a ride plate mod after, but might just try to do it myself... trying to talk myself into it..

ride plate mod and the above puts you at 76-77 for 1800

Do you think this would be money well spent? I plan to get her up over 80mph in the future.

might as well wait till riva comes out with some more stuff to save yourself some money in the long run.

You are prob right.. Im just very impatient, and I have some extra loot burning threw my pocket. I am going to pull it tonight, and get that chrome painted, oil change, and I want to order a few parts.. If all goes right, I may be able to have it back in next weekend.

if u want top speed and accel. isnt as much of a issue than u probably should have bout a left over RXP and put the diff. of money into mods.

the rxp-x is focused on accel. the rxp is better to mod for top speed

according to who? aside from the x-having pump issues

swap out the pump for a skat pump and have at it with mods.

and if he wanted top end speed, he should have built a GPRXP
