Thread: Prop suggestion

I am fixin to purchase a Riva Stage 1 kit, rear exhaust and a shorty waterbox on my stock 07 RXT. I will probably install them at the same time. My question is the 14/17R prop that comes with the stage 1 kit. Do you think that with the exhaust upgrades that this will still be the right prop choice? I will be upgrading the supercharger and installing a external intercooler by the end of the summer. If you think I this is the wrong prop choice, if you could let me know. I will then just piece the kit together without the prop. I don't want to spend $300 on a prop that is the wrong one.

Robbie, i recommend the 14/19R impeller over the 14/17
When you make the purchase (if you are buying it from me?) make a note in the comments section to substitue the 14/19R impeller and i will send you that instead.

I have ordered an external intercooler, and in the next day or so I will be ordering a power pipe, gibson muffler, and rear exhaust kit. In a month or so, I will be upgrading the supercharger. My question is would you guys still recommend a 14/19R?

Don't worry, a lot of people seem to call it a power pipe. I think its name is power filter so that's probably where the name came from.
Let us know how your mods work out for you.

Yes, until you upgrade the supercharger/injectors you should get a 14/19r.
