    Wewlcome to the Hulk CRX.

What kind of water do you normally ride on?

A scoop type (R&D aquavane) would hinder performance on smooth water, but keep you hooked up better in choppy water.

Depending what you're looking for, a ride plate would add more performance than an intake grate.

I have a new Solas top loader, not quite as agressive as the R&D used for racing, is a nice mix between hookup for rough water, tight turning and speed.

    $55 plus shipping from Minneapolis.

thanks, its hard to say what time of water I run, alot is 1ft chop and under on a 6mile lake, other is 3ft waves on a larger fresh water lake.

I ride mainly with a friend with a 93xp modded and he cleans up on me on in the chop, fine mines slow I know.

I would like something that doesn't slow me down to much but inproves hook up in chop.

I was told a while back that the 785pro intake grate doesn't loose to much top end?

this sounds more like what I would be looking for, not to aggressive but better then stock for hook up. I'll let you know, thanks

Fair enough. Keep the stocker for the 1 ft and less.

Then use the scoop type for the 3 ft. It's only 1 bolt to change them.

The SL hull isn't great for choppy conditions, but you can help make it better. Look into a longer ride plate than stock, and maybe some sponsons.

thanks for the tips, I will keep my eye open. Still think I should sell it and get a xp720 or xp800/spx, we will see, I don't use it much and its a perfect second ski for a friend to beat on.
