    New Solas

I put on my Solas 14/19r and was very pleased turning a 69.7 GPS. We were riding someside creeks and ran out of water sucking up mud into the pump. After an hour of pushing and cussing and falling tide we were back into deep enough water to get going again. The problem is I lost 2 mph, I pulled the grate and inspected the impellar, man its dinged all up. My question is Now what? Do I have to replace the Solas to get my 69 mph back? Helpppppppp

Send it back to Solas, for under $100.00 they will hook it right back up better than new.

Another ? , my RPM's are 8160, is that still a bit high? And could I run a 15/20r on my RXT with the mods I presently have?

Jerry. Just a couple of thoughts. I agree with Alex. You are so close to optimum rpm, just send your prop back to Solas for a doo over. As summer heat gets here you'll lose that little extra rpm and your perfect. Then get the adjustable venturi (rings) and you can easily adjust for different temps/conditions. My two cents
