    Storage?

Has anyone used the Large empty area under rear bucket, behind the Battery and behind the muffler on the 4 stroke- 3 seater ski's for storage.

I just put some jumper cables- tools etc back there and saw where a small to medium dry bag would squish into the Wing like area on each side.

Since muffler is held with rubber strap- dousn't seem like it would be too hot to burn a bag?

No moving parts back there-- only some bilge splash?

    Thanks

I've seen a spare AGM battery mounted on its side in the 'wing' above the standard battery, which seems a good idea to me.....& on my list of things to do.

Carried 2 small dry bags stuffed into wing area over battery from Houston to Lake Charles and back over the weekend. Stayed in place and saw no noticeable damage. Might be a great hideout spot.
Will put a remote thermometer in area behind muffler to see how hot that area gets.
