Does anyone know why and what kind of build up that is on my fuel tank?
    Thanks

I suspect it may be guck.

It looks like dust stuck in some sort of oil, but that pic is fuzzy so it is hard to tell.

I figured, is it inside or outside? What have you tried so far in removing it?

The staining is farely new....all gas stations around me now are less then 10% ethanol...So it could be that.. You think it will hurt anything?

    Any more suggestions?
