Question about oil pressure gauge tubing

I'm installing an oil pressure gauge in my RXP and the little plastic tubing that came with the gauge isnt long enough to do what I want to do with it.

    Is this the same stuff?

Looks like it should be. You could also check auto parts stores. Most places should have the proper tubing that you could buy by the foot. Local NAPA should be able to fix you up.

Napa and Autozone was no help this morning. They have packs of 6' sections.

Jerry, why not install an electric sender to a gauge that reads the electronic signals. less things to worry about.

Yea that would be the ticket Mike, but i took the cheap way out and got a manual gauge.

I ended up ordering a 12' tubing kit from Summit Racing.

    Jerry,

You've spent thousands on your ski and you cant spare enough to get an electronic oil pressure guage? Come on, their not that expensive! lol

Scrap it and get the electronic model, much simpler. And if you were to wear a hole in that tubing, that would be a MESS!

Brand new to "Green Hulk" and am horning in on this discussion. Can anyone tell me where to get an electronic model oil pressure gage and where to install the sensor?

    I have a 2004 Seadoo GTX Supercharged.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

You can get one from Summit or Jegs then purchase a mirror gauge pod adapter or one of the globve box lids in the online store. I don't particularly think an oil pressure gauge is that important because by the time you realize the oil pressure is too low it will be too late anyway

Livorsi Marine makes very good marine specific gauges and senders.
