    Places to fuel up?

I am working out the logistics of going to MB, but.... I drive an X and well its not very friendly on the gas tank is there plenty of places close by to pick up gas? or do we have to get out of the water to pick up 90+ octaine?

The Spunky Monkey has 93 Octane fuel. Gros Marina and Mosquito Bar both carry 87.

I remember Mosquito Bar being right around your place and where most of the action went down, while the Spunky Monkey was a pretty good trek down the bayou. Something like 5-6 miles, no?

I think the Spunky Monkey is further away than that but it is a trip that is well worth the effort. The other thing you could do is fill up some jugs and leave in your truck at the ramp and just fill up there.

Yeah we do gas jugs on the trailer, I have an X also, don't worry. You can get back to the ramp from anywhere with a little throttle control. The X will go about 60-65 miles on the gas. There won't be a problem.

Somebody may want to remind Doirion's to order an extra tanker truck with 93 octane on it.

Any BP or Sunnoco gas stations in town or close?? Decent prices?

I'm coming with 4 empty boats and a bunch of gas cans to save on weight. Thats 5 or 600 pounds I don't need to be dragging accross the country.
