T-X grate question
After reading many conflicting reports about the stock grate, Rive grate, R & D grate, I've decided to cut the outer wings off the stock grate. Question is how do you do this? Hack saw or grinder? Any thing I should know before I hack away?

i used a wiz wheel and made a straight line groove where I wanted the cut to be and then finished it off with a sawzall.

I guess just put the grate in a vice and cut with a sawsall? I don't want to f**k up the grate, just trim the wings off. How much are new stock grates? Does Jerry stock them?

Im totally confused. Your pictures don't tell me which is the stock grate, and which is the riva or r&d grate. What wings where do you cut off the stock grate???
Of the 3 options, which is the best; cut wings off stock grate, riva, or r&d. I ride in Lake Havasu, and sometimes it can get choppy, but most of the time I ride early in the morning, when its cooler, and usually up river, so mostly smothish water. I want more speed.
