To order click here
Our Intake Manifold Upgrade Kit enables your engine to produce more horsepower through increased boost pressure (+1lb). Supplied hole cutting tool allows easy removal of restrictive screen element from inside of intake manifold. Special o-ringed, billet block-off plug with integrated fitting for aftermarket boost pressure gauge fills opening left after removal of screen element. Includes detailed installation instructions. NOTE: Our testing has determined the stock ECU will compensate for the increased boost provided by our Intake Manifold Upgrade Kit.

Can this mod work on a stock X ski without fuel upgrades? I read somewhere that this mods can lean out the fuel mixture.

I have already ordered the R&D intake filter to install in the air inlet of the RXP-X. The sale price with purchase of the intake grate seemed like a bargain since I wanted the R&D grate anyway. It looks like the R&D filter unit adds a 2nd layer of filtration to the system if the stock air box filter is left intact. If the R&D filter provides flame arrestor protection (does it?) then the removal of the above filter seems necessary or you'll be adding unneeded restriction. Did I miss something in the sales pitch for the R&D filter? me out here...

No. A flame arrestor "element" is not required. The stock Sea•Doo engine is both Coast Guard & SAE approved for flame arrestor/spark arrestor compliance. The part that protects the system from sparks is actually the stock intercooler. The intercooler functions as a spark arrestor by preventing a backfire from shooting sparks into the engine compartment. BRP is not required to display a Coast Guard or SAE # on the stock intercooler or air intake system because the whole ski displays a Coast Guard or CE approval for safety.

nice, decent price too....especially since you get the billet block off.

Thanks for the clarification on the coast Guard requirements.
So about the "dual filtration" with the R&D unit, is this the case, or am I missing something?

dumb question, but is this just for the X models, or will this work for a regular RXP too?
