How much should a ski sell for??

I'm trying to sell my 94 SL750 and the NADA value is killing me. It says around 500 bucks, but I have never seen a running ski that looks good sell for 500 bucks. I'm trying to get 1200 with a single trailer. Is that way too much to be asking? It has a new seat, mats, starter, trim, bendix, flywheel and stator.

That's what I thought. I thought someone was getting a good deal but everyone keeps offering me $600 bucks.

NADA guide is great for cars and other stuff, but when it comes to watercraft they are not acurate at all. In this case, one should really rely/turn to KBB (Kelly Blue Book) for acurate values. They do a far better job of research for these kind of items.

I hate to say it but that is why people part them out if it is in good running condition, you can get $600 for the engine alone.

1200 is a fair price, I paid 1350.00 for my 95 sl750 with 110 hours on it, with single trailer.

    Good luck.

I'll throw the 793cc jugs on it before I part it out. I just need the money to pay for a wedding.

    I'll give you $610.00

When the temps get in the 90's, you'll dump it no problem for at least a grand. It's hard to get excited when it's rain and dodging tornados.

I'm asking a similar price for a similar ski with all the goodies and it hasn't sold in several months.

I think a lot people get scared off with older ski's. Eventually gonna have to work on it and they want a dirt cheap purchase price to cover what may (or hopefully not) be wrong with it. As the old adage goes-somethings only worth what somebody will pay you for it.
