Pulling a Skiier/boarder with your XPL

can you do it? reason im asking is because sometimes its such a pain in the ass to get the boat prepped compaired to throwing my 00XP on the trailer and going...

and anyone have any recommendations on which prop to use (stage 1 951) to improve holeshot to pop a body up faster?

It depends on the boating laws in your state. In GA we have 3 seaters only to pull someone. As the second rider has to be faced rearward for a spotter, and you can't tow more than the ski was designed to carry total.

    Mirrors Required

Every motorboat towing a person must have an observer, other than the operator, 13 years of age or older OR be equipped with a rearview mirror of a size no less than four inches (4") in measurement from bottom to top and across from one side to the other.

Check the size of your mirror. I am willing to bet most Game Wardens(or other water way police) will not whip out the ruler as long as you operating in a responsible manner.

yea i knew about the mirror law... wasnt too concerned about it really, the park rangers and wardens are pretty decent up here so i don't think they would question it... if not i can get a big mirror

i was mostly curious about being able to pull someone with ease, because of the cleats on the back, being so low on the hull

I used to slalom behind my 96 XP, just be aware the rear end can break loose when the skier/boarder cuts hard if you don't countersteer

2 hrs or so? im lucky i live on the only good sized lake in the panhandle so i don't have to travel very far, but i have been debating about heading elsewhere... it just sucks cus its so windy all the time i'd hate to drive 3 hrs just to go to someplace that is just as windy as back home lol
