Is there a way to bypass or change the setting so i dont have to hit the remote every time i want to start the thing? I couldnt find anything in the yamaha book either? Any help would be appreaciated or just poing me in the right direction.

you don't need to unlock it everytime u want to start it . . . i just lock it up when i put it up for the day . . or when im at the sand bars . . .other wise it stays how u put it !!

    Mines either locked or unlocked.
It's always locked in my secure home garage and left that way until I hit the ramp next time.
Unlocked then and used for the day, often stopping, but only being locked again if for some reason out of sight.
Locked up again after the flush and wash up.
