    Impeller thread pitch? Tap and die?

    I need a die to runover the treads on my Drive shaft the next time I pull It. I had a mold maker figure out the tread pitch and size I think it was 22 x 1.5 but any how does any one know where I could barrow one. I can a LARGE depost down I just For one can't find one for under a 100.00 dollars (for the tap alone) Had to be made. where Is some cheap china crap when Ya need it.
    any one?

    This is pretty tough thing to find. if you are just cleaning up some damaged threads on the shaft, I would do it by hand with a trianglular file or try and find a thread file that pitch. As far as a tap goes might try someone like impros for this.

    Good point...I forgot about that. Mcmaster-carr doesn't even go up that big in a left hand thread die.

    Yes that is my thought too...(impros) I have a metric thread file from work (buddys in the tool room) ... I am just cleaning up a damaged thread
