    My RXP-X Top Speed.

Just thought I would share with everyone. Today I got 73.2 on GPS. Made severall runs, all close to the same. around 8100 - 8140 rpms

    9 hrs on machine
    Water temp. 69 deg
    Air 75 deg
    Glass water conditions.
    1 bar a fuel
    I weigh 180 lbs

I have the R&D Grate, Ride plate holes filled, and added the plenum air filter. I plan on getting the RE block offs next.

I love this machine. It replaced a 2005 RXP, completely stock.

Pitch your prop to get your RPM down to 8K and I bet you pick up another mph.

Thats a good speed and rpms. Any reason why you wouldn't do the wedge, repitch prop next instead of the BO's.

Me and friend bought RXP-X's at the same time. Mine only can do 8K and his can do 8040-60. Funny thing is I pull him slightly on top. I did the R & D Grate, ride plate holes filled and hit 72.5 gps at 8K again in 93-95 air and water temp. Next mods R & D air filter, wedge, repitch, pull filter from intake manifold. Anybody guess what my top speed will be? Also, on the R & D website they just put a new free flow kit for the RXP-X that looks good.

I would highly recommend you bring your RXP X to Erik at Speed Freeks. He can repitch your prop and get you better speeds around 75-77 mph.
