Website for GPS Devices?
Hey guys, I'm looking at getting a GPS device for speed. Where is a good website to buy me one??
All the help is appreciated! I need to find out how off my speedometer is on my ski.

All depends on what you will be using it for. For basic speed runs the Forerunner 201 by Garmin is sweet. Low price and small. For anything else, you will have to wait for others to respond.
Watch Academy or Walmart on line. You can get the 201 for around $100 or less you look hard.

i have two Garmin units.....the Forerunner 101...and a GPSmap 60C ....both work really well....but the forerunner is my choice for the ski as it is weather resistant (designed for running) AND compact...its velcro strap is perfect for the handlebars and the battery lasts a LONG time....(days)....the GPSmap 60C is nice though because it is color and is a true navigation device for the occasional exploratory adventure you may want to embark on....so the choice for the adventurer would be the nav style in my opinion....but if its speed your trying to watch...the forerunner is a no-brainer in my book....

I just bought the Lowrance XOG. I love it.
I can take it from the Truck to the Ski.
It retails for $200. It comes road ready for turn by turn directions. Has a internal battery so you can take it on the ski. It also has an optional Nautical Chip you can buy that will show you coastal charts on it. It is not waterproof, but it is "Splashproof". I just keep it in a floating dry pouch and have it velcroed to my glove box.
