I'd have to agree 100%!! Infact, He has forgotten more than I'll ever know, but what he has forgotten he wrote down somewhere. May take him a minute to find it.

I have no doubt with all of randy's years of wrenching he has more polaris pwc knowledge than i ever will, but i just wondered if this water routing was only to cure the 97 problems or what other problems it solved.

I am pretty confident that Randy drew that up while in a drunken rage and had Al give him the numbers out of a hat.... Or is that Kevin.... Or Pirate You make the call.

I'd be guessing to say that he designed it to help reduce the chance of water being ingested into the cylinders (water logged exhaust when approaching the ramp/ trailer), and to help the performance of the holeshot, and top end by getting the right amount of water to the stingers.
97 factory setup had a restrictor into the cross fitting, and individual restrictors to each stinger, which I found kinda odd. He simplified the restrictors if ya ask me.
If ya want the definitive answer, ask Randy. He is easy to talk to. Great guy!
