Where is the oil bleed screw in a Yamaha XLT 1200 WaveRunner

    Newbie alert!

Anyone can point me to the oil bleed screw? Water got into the oil tank. I emptied the tank and have new oil ready. Need to find out where the oil bleed screw is.

Also, what is the process for bleeding? Do I:
    1- Add oil
2- Open the oil bleed screw
    3- Start the engine
4- Look for oil to come out of the oil bleed screw? How long let the engine run?
5- Shut it off and take the jetski to the water

    Thanks

The oil bleed screw is next to the idle adjusting knob. Drain the tank then fill with oil after that open the bleed screw and you will see oil coming out. Let it run out till it's clean flow coming out then close the screw and start the ski.

In front of the #1 cylinder. It is a black plastic turn knob. You can get the shop manuals free in the How-To and FAQ section of the forum.
