Thread: RXP on Snow

    RXP on Snow

Here's an RXP project a guy just finished up on a snowmobile site I am a member of. He took off the SC and added a Turbo. He is running 15lbs of boost but is going to be cranking up and probably be putting in a bigger turbo. I just moved to NC from COlorado, but I thought you guys might like it anyway.

so i guess no need for ic or is running stock intercooler????. I cant see one and was thinking with cold air outside may not need one.

He's saying 300HP+, I'm currently looking for video. BTW the sled weighs about 520 lbs before gas. On a sled there is a heat exchanger under the tunnel where the snow is kicked up and cools the coolant running through the exchanger.

Well I read farther and he's currently at 18lbs at 7500' elevation on pump gas(around 320hp) and probably going to push it up to 22lbs for next season. He busted the jackshaft (from the clutch to the track) so no vids for this year. Pretty cool though.

I'm looking to get an RXP soon hopefully to replace my sled I sold. What kind of MPG do they get? Like how long will a full tank last?
