    RXT Breather, Catch Can Kit

Anybody use it? Can this really make that much of a performance difference for $125? Or is this more of a preventative.. maintenance... thing?

No performance improvement! When you begin to increase the mods the engine blows a lot more gunk out the breather than it does stock. The catch can catches this stuff and dosen't let it go back through the intake or all over the inside of the hull. With my stage 2.5 I blow out 1/4 to 1/3 cup of gunk with every tankfull. I recommend using one. You do not have to buy the 125 one. Some guys have made one using pvc pipe and fittings and connected with 3/4" heater hose, or plastic drink bottles, etc. Do a search on catch cans and you should find some custom made cans. I have a 4" intake up front and I do not want that stuff running back through my custom intake and gunking it up.

The oil catch can is recommended for all Sea Doo watercraft with major mods, it helps with blow by. It keeps the unused oil out of the intake system, wich will reduce overall power. You will only have blow by if you have excess boost, if not, it wont help.

all above is true but the main reason for it is when switching to an 4 inch DIY air intake you have to re-route the breather hose to somewhere and the catch can is the simplest, if you are not upgrading your air intake then no you shouldnt be intrested in it
