    Ultra 250 pump rebuild

Ok. I got all new parts including vane guide, cause i wrecked that too. so now i need to know about grease or anything special to get all these tiny parts together. all i have is a parts diagram and info on installing the impeller from impros. they sent me a solas impeller. does anyone have a pdf of the kawi service manual that deals with this?

Is there any oil or anything needed inside the pump?

If the bearings are sealed no oil is required.

do the bearings have to be pressed in or anything? they are pretty tight. don't wanna wreck this brand new stuff. i'll be a master if i ever get through this i hope. this is like starting from the factory. it looks like most of it is inserted from the rear.

You should order a manual. It outlines all you need to know or go to an oem parts web site and find the breakdown for pumps. It should have a diagram for you to look at.

You can order the manual from kawasaki or from r-rated.

Of course I have a parts diagram, that is how I ordered the parts. By the time a friggin manual comes from the US, I hope to be in the water. I took the stuff to a machine shop yesterday and they said they will heat up the vane guide and get the shaft and bearings in there for me. The dealer sent me an O-ring that was the wrong part number, so I went to a nut and bolt shop and got one that fit. It was 24 cents compared to $2.75 and no waiting for the friggin parts from the US. Am I posting in the wrong forum, or has nobody ever dealt with this?
