    Pulling Double Trailers....

    Scott (shhr) was nice enough to let me use his Mac Daddy Triton Trailer to pull my skis to Mudbug, I also have Btldigger coming with me so Scott has a way to hook two trailers together...... I dont know the specs on the materials but heres the pics...................

    Make sure you check local laws, in some states it's illegal to pull two trailers.

    Keep in mind that when the second trailer is attached, the tongue weight of the second railer will be reducing the tongue weight at the tow vehicle ball (teeter-toter effect).

    So you will need to move the PWC forward on the front trailer, maybe quite a bit, to get the tongue weight where it should be. Now, should that front tongue weight be a percentage of the combined trailers, or just the front trailer?

    Some states do not permit doubles, others have limits on maximum tow weight without trailer brakes. The trailer brake requirement weights can be fairly low.

    Pulling Double Trailers

    When towing (2) trailers do you hook up light to both or just jump from truck to rear trailer?
    How was LC ride.
    Nice freeport ride today (windy), where were you?
    Got SHO already, I see.
    Vanee got hers but no show today (food posioning).
    Need gps support when you have time.

    if you need more weight on the tounge of the front trailer, you can use a tractor weight(usually about 150lbs) or something similar. Use some U-bolts to hold it down to the frame. check with a John Deere farm implement dealership near you. They usually have some lying around off of some older machines.
