    Limits Of "05 Rxp" Stock Ecu

    Just a querie regarding stock ecu in my 05 rxp,i have just installed a "C" Charger after running a"B" charger for some time now.The problem i have is the ski revs straight to 8100 then seems to flutter back to around 7900 then surges back to 8100 then up and down between the 2 at WOT.I am being told that it is the ecu not being able to handle the increased horsepower(b kit ran8150 all day everyday).Does anyone know if this is correct or heard of it before.Ihave been trying to push the limits of stock ecu just trying to figure out if ive found it?Any feedback would be appreciated before i get the new ecu off the shelf.

    You are all over the rev limiter. You need to add pitch to your impeller.
    If you continue to run against the rev limiter you will burn your engine up. The ECU cut's fuel on the limiter and you will run lean.

    You want to run a solid 8100 RPM's with the stock ECU.

    Thanks,i am running untouched 15/20 with 81mm ring should i repitch or can i run smaller ring,i am being told here in aussie i need to be at 8000 but everything i read on here mentions 8100 just starting to get confused,sorry.was thinking about trying 15/22 would this work?

    8000 is for the X models only. THe 215 models want to run at 8100. I would repitch the prop before coming down to a 80mm or smaller ring. You will have some serious suffering in the accleration department with that choked of a nozzle.

    Add some pitch to the trailing edge of the prop. I'm running the 81 mm nozzle with a 15/20 repitched to 15/24 and it pulls 8100 rpm at 81 mph. (Is "81" the new "23"?)
