On the MSXtreme, should I see about getting one of these VS the stock style? And who sells them and how much? Anyone got a spare?

In the chop, racing conditions and/or low fuel situations, it will save your ass.
It doesn't take much air to give you a lean run condition and I don't know about you guys but at 100 per piston 300+ per cylinder 100 for gaskets and misc. it's cheap insurance.

If it's a rec boat and you keep fuel in the tank the stock or standard fuel system will do just fine.

You can also install dual pumps with the vapor seperator which saves the hassle of a 3rd pick up.

Here's a Good Read from Group K, Makes you want to put one on every Ski. Read the whole article here:

    http://www.groupk.com/sep.htm

    For most of us:
    Drag Racers and “Grudge” Racers

While this type of PWC racing is not often sanctioned, it is widely participated in by owners across the country. In pursuit of the highest possible peak waterspeed, these owners often run with the least possible amount of fuel to reduce nose weight. Among racers, these owners have the greatest risk of scoring a piston from aerated fuel because the load of running at peak rpm on smooth water is the heaviest of all engine loads. A boat being operated in this way needs only to get aerated fuel for a few moments in order to experience detonation and piston scoring. With a separator in place, that risk is virtually eliminated.

    Endurance -ATTENTION: PIRATE
Among all pwc racers, endurance racers run the highest risk of damaging a piston from aerated fuel because they are constantly trying to run as far as possible on each tank of fuel. In addition, these owners are running their engines constantly at high rpms, where the risk of a lean condition has the highest consequences. With an air free supply of fuel, the risk of scoring a piston is dramatically reduced.

Although I'm sure the one from Klemm is all right, I'd take the design, workmanship and quality of NOVI all over it.
There's a reason NOVI is in what....85% of all modded engines and the first to get a call when there's something interesting to be had.
Granted some ugly stuff happened with the ownership but that's another story...
