Help... 96 XP or 98GSX Limited

Man, I just cant decide. I have $ down on a 96 XP with low hours, but for a little more I can get a 98 GSXL in equal or better shape. This will be a second ski and will be used for windy days out in the waves and jumping the wakes of cabin cruisers and what not.
What is more fun for general tooling around the lake and jumping. Yeah, yeah I have read but I have not ridden an GSXL and ridden the hell out of a 97 and 98 SPX so I know they are fun. I am 210 and capable, but will it be as fun to throw around or will be like a bigger lug with a little more power... not worth the possible extra headaches of the early 951's.
    90 hours 98 GSXL $3000
    42 hours 96 XP $1700
Money is not the issue, just feel like I am passing up an opportunity to upgrade in the "fun/jump factor" though it seems opinions are mixed.
Given the same ramp, say a 6 footer which ski is coming out higher.
Turnin' burnin' what is more fun to try and stick a tight turn down on?
I know this is a dead horse, but I just cant make up my mind...
    thanks again-

Part of me says the GSXL will match XP DI better on the trailer...

    Thanks guys-
I keep going back and forth. 42 hours on a 96 is nice, it's coming from a dealer so for 1700 with a minimal warrantee I am thinkin this is a pretty good deal. 130 vs 110 given up a 100 pounds... Just hard to pass up that HP.
