    Boost Pressure Mods For X Models

    I was thinking about trying the Riva Intake Manifold Mod (removing filter), along with the Rotax Racing SC Impeller upgrade.

    Trying to get back some of the acceleration that I lost with Riva Reduction Nozzle.

    What are your thoughts?? GH??

    I am getting 10.6 PSI @ 8050 RPMs with my stage 1 on my RXT-X. I am going to just pull the mesh out of the intake myself and see what I get.

    My only concern is more boost may lean me out and I dont have an A/F gauge installed yet to see if that will be the case.

    What size ring are you using? I am using the 82MM, and I did not see a noticable lose of acceleration.

    Im using all rings, from 86 down to 81, and Im seeing much degredation in accelleration the farther I go down. Maybe the pump tunnel on the PX?? How much boost increase can I have before I worry about mixture conditions? Thats the question I need answered..

    You wont know that unless you have an A/F gauge. IM going to do what you are going to do, but again I am istalling a A/F gauge to let me know if im leaning out, and if so then I will mod to get the required fuel.

    I don't know why everyone is defending this stage 1 kit so much. The reduction nozzle decreases hole shot acceleration end of story.

    I will be fine tuneing my X for stock nozzle. I new 75 was possible with stock nozzle and that is my goal. Probably even a version of stock grate too. Hate to give up the awesome holeshot, hookup, and fine tune for top end.
