    Nose Cone spacer????

    Anyone running one of these I have seen a few for sale on ebay and dennis kirk for like 20 bucks. Any reason for the need of one of these its made by R&D.

    you can gain up to 0.5mph WITHOUT a nose cone. thats what the word is around hear, yet to try myself

    then all the grease will go all over the pump wont it?

    Not the cone on your pump.. The cone on your impeller..

    this spacer goes on before the pump cone to space the cone back about 1/4'' inch. Well i bought one and i will see what it does, it says it helps remove some cavation which i get with the extra person on the back sometimes. here is a link to the part i am talking about let me know what you think. http://denniskirk.com/jsp/product_ca...mmyId=10600032

    I will be trying the no nose cone 4th of July weekend probably. I will post results if I do it.

    well i got back about 50 to 60 rpm with the spacer in didnt have the gps with me but i raced a green wheeled rxp with a 14/19r and a riva 3'' intake and i could catch up to him but he had me off the start hard by like 4 boats. I hope the green wheel that i am putting in this weekend will fix the rpm issue i am having 7850 is not good right now.
