    96 Waveventure 1100 Blowing fuses

I have a 1996 Waveventure with a "Fountain Boys" rebuilt engine (Runs like a scalded dog ), but I have a small problem with the fuse blowing about every 6-8 hours on the clock. Any suggestions on the best place to look for the problem?

Would the problem be more likely in the starter system or in the charging system. Can be riding along for an hour or two, hit the stop button but when I hit the start button to restart (usually within 5 to 10 minutes) nothing. Replace the fuse an then I'm off again for several days of riding, starting, stopping, starting, stopping, etc. Riding days could be days apart or months apart. I'm up to my ears in the factory manual as well as the Clymers manual but haven't found a really simple straight forward plan of action yet. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks .

sounds like a pinched wire blowing fuse-take apart the start/stop switch and clean it out and ck. there first
