    Octane Boosters?

I know 93 is the best but the problem is my lake only has 87 and sometimes I like to go out for a while and not have to go back to the dock and fill up. So anyone have any luck with these? I have a RXT-X

From what I have been told by others is to stay away from octane boosters. There are often a lot of detergents in them and they can cause more harm than good. Since you have an RXT-X, I believe that unit has a knock sensor, so it will retard the timing. You will suffer a loss in performance running 87 octane. I would use the recommended fuel go buy a little caddy to fuel up, gas is always cheaper off the water.
